Carpet Cabinet is a progressive, multi-genre band which has, over the years, gone through many changes and phases, until it stayed in the present line-up. We are a group of young and excited musicians who believe in what we do. We would like to share our excitement and energy and we want to get people to the same wavelength.  We create music that has our own sound without stereotypes. We try to bring music which is not played very often at the scene and which deserves to be brought closer to audiences. So far we have cooperated with the following artists: Sisa Fehérová, Tina Mweni, Ashley  Abrman, Zuzana  Mikulcová or Hawky. All of them are featured on our debut album “Be Good, Stay Strong, Live  Long“, which was nominated for the Espirit award: The best album of 2016. Our music mixes up genres such as R&B, soul, Jazz, hip-hop, funk, electronic music or whatever style we feel like playing. This allows us to address a wide spectrum of audiences. During our existence we have played many concerts at festivals for example: Pohoda festival,  Orava  Jazz  Fest,  Beseda  u  Bigbítu,  Open  Jazz  fest  na Zelenej  vode,  Nábřeží  jazzmanů and at various clubs. We were honoured to share the stage with artists such as Richard Spaven, Bob Mintzer or Kirk Lightsey. We managed to get the 1st price in the JazzStartUp competition in “live performance” category, we won the competition of young talents on the Bratislava jazz days festival as well as in the “Demovnica” contest. Carpet Cabinet doesn`t represent only a music band. Thanks to their unique energy they create a community of people with their own language and style and help people to be better.
